Last week I finished my first book in twenty five years. It's been a process. It began as a book... then when I dabbled in writing screenplays in the 80s, it was turned into a screenplay. Then I rewrote the screenplay. By the time I returned to writing it in novel form, it had been transformed to a completely different story from where it started. The characters were the same, but they had grown and matured. As had I. As we now walk through the edit phase and the cover art phase before putting it on Amazon, I hope that you will travel with me on this journey. I look forward to sharing Meeting Melissa with you very soon.
It's a Journey
There's so much more to the writing process than just writing. As I learned this past weekend, there's research and cover art and product placement and so much more. I continue to be amazed at how much work Bobby has put into making sure that his books are not only well written but marketable. So, I'm riding his coat tails on this one, since he was the guinea pig in this experiment. It will make my endeavors more refined and a lot less complicated. Thanks Bobby for your wisdom and encouragement. Oh, and for that friendship thing, too!
Working with Bobby Adair
I am blessed to be somewhat-related to the humble and magnanimous author, Bobby Adair. After spending a lovely four days with Bobby and his girlfriend Kat, I've learned so much about the writing process and how I publish the books I've been working on all my life.
